In fact, while many of our builders have industry experience, many have no prior building experience at all. There are, however, some common qualities that we look for in franchise candidates.

  • Believes in providing a remarkable experience for all homebuyers.
  • Sees employees as a valuable resource; believes in training.
  • Can build relationships with external partners.
  • You or your group must have the ability to acquire and develop at least 12 acres of land and secure a construction line of credit of $1,000,000 or more for a community of 60 or more homes.
  • An Epcon Homes project requires a minimum of only 10 lots and appropriate funding.
  • Typically, capital of at least $1,000,000 is required for full community. An Epcon Homes project of 10 homes may require significantly less capital.
  • Understands franchising.
  • Committed to the system.
  • Values systems and processes.
  • Wants to be self-employed.
  • Engaged in the process.
  • A team player.
  • Enjoys the camaraderie of associating with other business people.
  • Action oriented and a self-starter.
  • Ability to manage a process.
